Those planks will get rid of love handles and the v-ups will tone up your abs. :’)

This was just something I was thinking about in the shower this morning.
I think the difference between running and jogging has nothing to do with how quickly you’re moving. It’s all about intention.
If you feel like you’re running, then you are running. If you feel like you’re jogging, then likewise, you’re jogging.
When I was doing intervals this morning, part of the time I was sprinting 100m and then jogging 100m. My jogging speed may be the same as another’s running speed, but it was jogging for me because my intention was a slower pace for recovery.
A person jogs because he or she feels that it’s necessary for weight loss, good health, etc. Jogging is a “have to” thing.
A person runs because he or she loves it. Running is a “get to” thing.
When you jog, you take it easy. When you run you give it your all- even if you have walking breaks.
No one says, “I’m jogging a race this weekend.” You run a race- even if you walk half (or more) of it.
So stop saying, “I’m not really a runner.” If you run, you’re a runner.

Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.

You don’t have to be a marathon runner to run. If you’re running.. you are a runner! I ran today for the first time in FOREVER.. today I was a runner!
